Mozambik Chisipite Restaurant brings the vibrant flavors of Mozambique's Afro-Portuguese cuisine to Harare, offering a unique dining experience with an authentic ambiance. Fort Dunree Trading LLC was engaged to reimagine the interior design, delivering a space that reflects the rich cultural heritage of Mozambique while providing a modern, inviting atmosphere.
Our contribution
Conceptual Design & Theme Development

Space Planning & Layout Optimization
- • Created distinct zones for dining, bar, and outdoor seating, enhancing both flow and functionality.
- • Developed a flexible layout to accommodate small groups and large gatherings.
Interior Design & Finishing
- • Handpicked furniture, lighting, and décor elements that align with the Mozambican theme.
- • Sourced artisanal pieces and decorative accents to add authenticity.
Bar & Lounge Design
- • Designed a vibrant bar area with a mix of high-top seating and cosy nooks.
- • Implemented ambient lighting and stylish fixtures to create a welcoming vibe.
